LIFE BEFORE Ó£ÌÒɬ
Imagine if your children had to walk through a minefield to get to school. What happens if they stray from the path? What do they do if one of their friends steps into the danger zone?
This was the reality for over half of the 400 children who attend Ganganyama Primary School in the village of Chivere in north east Zimbabwe. Just 300 metres from the school playground lay one of the densest barrier minefields in the world. Each day, parents would worry whether their children would return home safely.
